Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made online or on site.

1. PRICES

Future prices: We reserve the right to change the pricing of our memberships and to introduce cancellation fees at a later date, but we will always inform you in advance, with sufficient notice to allow you to cancel your membership at no additional cost.

If you currently benefit from a reduced rate (under 13 or under 27), the price of your membership will be automatically adjusted the month following your 13th or 27th birthday.

1.1 YOUTH

Youth rates are only valid upon presentation of an identity card for each person aged 26 at most.

Youth rates are not sold online

1.2 HAPPY HOUR

HAPPY HOUR rates are only valid Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 16:00. If you check in on weekdays after 16:00, or on weekends from 9:00 to 21:00 with a HAPPY HOUR ticket, you will have to pay an entry at the NORMAL rate.

1.3 SINGLE ENTRIES

1.3.1 INDIVIDUAL TICKETS

Individual Tickets (1 entry) give you access to all areas from the time of purchase until closing time on the same day.

Individual Tickets cannot be transferred to another person and cannot be refunded.

1.3.2 10 ENTRIES

The 10 ENTRIES are valid for a maximum of two years from the date of purchase.
The NORMAL 10 ENTRIES can be used at the Petite Ile, A Bloc and Hall9 gyms.
The HAPPY HOUR 10 ENTRIES can only be used at Petite Ile.
No refund is possible for 10 ENTRIES that have not been fully

used.

It is not possible to transfer (part of) the 10 ENTRIES to another member.
The 10 ENTRIES cannot be exchanged for cash.
The 10 ENTRIES are personal and cannot be used by third parties. However, it is

possible to give an entry to a person accompanying the holder of the 10 ENTRIES card. This is only possible at Petite Ile and not at A Bloc and Hall9.

1.4 TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP

We offer 3 types of membership:

MEMBERSHIP

TRY-OUT

365 DAYS

Membership at Petite Ile has no joining fee and no cancellation fee, which allows you to climb at any time in accordance with the house rules .

1.4.1 MEMBERSHIP

The MEMBERSHIP is sold online and at Petite Ile. You will be asked to fill in and sign a SEPA mandate from which a recurring payment will be collected on the first day of the month until you decide to cancel your registration. If the first month has already started, you will pay the pro rata for the current month (i.e. only the remaining days of the month).

If we are unable to collect your payment, the services of your membership will be suspended until you have settled the account (which you can do at the Petite Ile front desk on your next visit). An administrative fee of €20 will be charged.

You can suspend your membership at any time and for any duration, for medical reasons, upon presentation of a valid medical certificate.

You can also suspend your membership for any reason for a minimum of 14 days and a maximum of 2 months.

If we receive your pause request before the 25th day of the month, the number of days of suspension will be deducted from the following month’s payment. If we receive your request after the 25th of the month, the number of days will be deducted from the payment of the second month. (For example, you ask us on 21 September to pause your membership from 1 to 15 October. You will pay 15 days less in October. But if you ask us on 27 September to pause your membership from 1 to 15 October, you will pay 15 days less in November. Please note: if in the latter case you decide to stop your membership for the month of November, the October pause period cannot be refunded).

If you wish to suspend your membership, please write to us, at least two working days in advance, at [email protected] stating the start and end date of your suspension. Your membership will automatically restart after the end date. You can always extend your pause by contacting us, at least two working days in advance. It is not possible to shorten a pause.

If you wish to cancel your membership, you can do so in MyClubApp or you can write to us at [email protected]. If your request is submitted before the 25th day of the current month, you will not be charged for the following month. Access to the services of your membership will continue until the end of the last paid month.

The MEMBERSHIP also gives you access to Hall9 and a €2 discount on your normal entry tickets at the A Bloc gym .

The MEMBERSHIP is personal and cannot be used by third parties.

1.4.2 TRY-OUT

TRY-OUT can only be purchased once and only by new customers who have never held a membership or 10 ENTRIES. TRY-OUT includes free rental of climbing shoes for the duration of the membership. TRY-OUT is only available for purchase at Petite Ile. Payment is made in one go, at the latest on the first day of validity. TRY-OUT is valid for 30 days. TRY-OUT is personal and cannot be cancelled, exchanged or transferred to a third party before it expires. TRY-OUT is non-refundable. TRY-OUT cannot be paused for any reason. TRY-OUT also gives you access to Hall9 and a €2 discount on your normal entry tickets at the A Bloc gym .

1.4.3 365 DAYS

365 DAYS is available online and at Petite Ile. Payment is made in one go, at the latest on the first day of validity. 365 DAYS is valid for 365 days. 365 DAYS is personal and cannot be cancelled, exchanged or transferred to a third party before it expires. 365 DAYS is non-refundable. 365 DAYS cannot be paused for any reason. 365 DAYS also gives you access to Hall9 and a €2 discount on your normal entry tickets at the A Bloc gym .

2 ADULT CLASSES

All adult classes must be booked and paid for in advance via MYCLUBAPP or the following link: https://petitile.clubplanner.be/Registration/BookingWizard/

Booked classes can be cancelled online via your account up to 24 hours before the first class. The amount paid will be refunded to your account as “CLUB CREDIT”. This Club Credit can be used for future classes, entry tickets and bar purchases. Under no circumstances can the amount be refunded in whole or in part in cash or by bank transfer. A cancellation less than 24 hours before the start of the first class will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Petite Ile reserves the right to cancel classes. Petite Ile will inform customers who have booked the cancelled classes, and these customers will be refunded the full price.

2.1 BOULDERING 1.01

€60 for 4 consecutive weeks (classes take place on Thursdays from 19:00 to 21:00). There are 10 places per 4-week session. Only the rental of climbing shoes is included in the price. Access to the gym is not included in the price. You only need to book the first date and pay the full amount. The following classes are added automatically

2.2 DISCOVERY SESSION

€10 per lesson, every two weeks on Mondays from 19:00 to 20:30. There are 10 places per lesson. Only the rental of climbing shoes is included in the price. Access to the gym is not included in the price.

2.3 BEGINNERS TRAINING

€13 per weekly lesson from 18:30 to 20:00 and from 20:00 to 21:30. There are 6 places per lesson. Only the rental of climbing shoes is included in the price. Access to the gym is not included in the price.

2.4 PRIVATE LESSONS

If you have a Petite Ile membership: €30/hour for 1 person and €40/hour for 2 people. Without a Petite Ile membership: €40/hour for 1 person and €50/hour for 2 people. Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 18:00. By appointment only. Email [email protected] Only the rental of climbing shoes is included in the price.

3. BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Bookings can only be made via the website

You can book 60 days in advance

Booked birthday parties can be cancelled online via your account up to 10 days before the booking date. The amount paid will be refunded to your account as “CLUB CREDIT”. This Club Credit can be used for future birthday parties, classes, entry tickets and bar purchases. Under no circumstances can the amount be refunded in whole or in part in cash or by bank transfer. A cancellation less than 10 days before the booking date will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Petite Ile reserves the right to cancel birthday parties. Petite Ile will inform customers who have booked the cancelled birthday party, and these customers will be refunded the full price.

A booking is only confirmed after receipt of payment and after our confirmation email

Groups of maximum 10 children . (no exceptions on the number of participants possible)

Age: from 6 years old. (no exceptions on the minimum age possible)

The activity starts at 14:00 sharp for the first group and 15:00 sharp for the second group.

Climbing is only allowed in the presence of the instructor – therefore only during the first hour of the booking. Party guests are not allowed to continue climbing after that hour.

During the second hour, children and parents are asked to stay in the cafeteria area. This excludes all climbing, training and relaxation areas. The items in these areas (rowing machine, ball, resistance band) are not intended for children

To respect other customers and ensure everyone’s safety in the gym, shouting and running in the gym is prohibited

Birthday parties are only held on Saturdays

You may arrive a maximum of 5/10 minutes early, and you are asked to leave at the end of the 2 hours.

Please note that a climbing gym can be a dangerous place and that for this reason, we are strict about the rules mentioned above.

Climbing involves risks that cannot be excluded without harming the activity. By signing this agreement, you accept that the activities offered (climbing, bouldering, fitness classes and/or other sports activities at Petite Ile) may cause injuries.

4. GIFT VOUCHERS

Gift vouchers are valid for one year from their date of purchase.

Gift vouchers cannot be replaced in case of loss, theft or destruction.

Gift vouchers cannot be refunded or exchanged for money or other vouchers of value.

If the amount of the planned purchase is higher than the face value of the gift voucher(s), the difference can be settled by payment in cash or by credit card. If it is lower, the personal credit will be increased by the remaining amount. No cash refund will be made.

Gift vouchers can be used to purchase all products and services of Petite Ile.

Gift vouchers may not be sold to third parties without our agreement. If we give our agreement, it may be subject to conditions that we impose. In any case, you may not sell the vouchers over the Internet without our explicit written consent, which you must obtain before proceeding with such a sale. We always reserve the right to refuse any sale of vouchers to a third party.

5. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

The purchaser of the gift voucher is entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period, provided that the gift voucher is returned unused and accompanied by the original receipt within 14 days of purchase, after which it will be refunded in full. If you wish to return a gift voucher, please write to us at: [email protected] . The purchaser of an entry, a 10-entry card or a membership (30 days, 365 days and MEMBERSHIP) may withdraw from their purchase within 14 days provided that the purchaser has not used the purchased product. The purchaser will be refunded in full. If you want to cancel a purchase, please send an email to [email protected]

You can return your goods for a full refund or a size exchange within 30 days of the purchase date shown on your receipt, if the item has not been used and all tags/packaging are present, or if the product is defective .

All items must be unused and include the original packaging with all tags. If you plan to return a garment, it must be in the same condition as when it was purchased. Once the garment has been worn and/or washed, it cannot be returned or exchanged, unless it is defective.

6. EVENTS

Tickets for events can be purchased online and/or at the door.

Tickets for events can be neither exchanged nor refunded.

Access restrictions (for example, entry times) may apply to certain events. This information is described in the event itself and in the confirmation email you receive after ordering your ticket.

7. CLOTHING

All climbers at Petite Ile are asked to wear appropriate sportswear, suitable footwear (preferably climbing shoes, but under no circumstances street shoes), a T-shirt or top and trousers or shorts.

8. HOUSE RULES AND PRIVACY POLICY

Please consult our House Rules and our Privacy Notices. These form an integral part of the Terms and Conditions of Petite Ile SRL.

9. COPYRIGHT

Copying and using the Petite Ile logo and other publications related to Petite Ile is strictly prohibited without our prior agreement.
