Covid Safe Ticket

11.10.2021

Following the government’s decision, visitors to Horeca venues and gyms will need to be able to show a COVID SAFE TICKET from 15 October 2021. Only COVID SAFE TICKETS with a QR code and a name will be accepted. Vaccination cards or QR codes without an identifiable name will not give access to the gym or the bar.

For Petite Ile visitors, this means that anyone over 16 must show a valid COVID SAFE TICKET and proof of identity.

As the parliamentary ordinance hasn’t been published yet, we’re sharing the information we’ve received from the press.

We’ll let you know more once we’ve been able to read the ordinance.

  • The COVID SAFE TICKET is mandatory from 15 October to 15 January.
  • Proof of identity, such as an ID card, must be requested by the organiser at every COVID SAFE TICKET check. The organiser may never record or keep this data.
  • These rules apply to both the bar and the climbing gym.

You can request the Covid Safe Ticket if you are either fully vaccinated (two doses of Pfizer, Moderna or AstraZeneca, or one dose of Johnson & Johnson), have a negative coronavirus test (a PCR test no more than 48 hours old or a rapid antigen test no more than 24 hours old), or have a recovery certificate no more than six months old. You can download the ticket via the CovidSafe app on your smartphone or via the website www.covidsafe.be. Those without a smartphone or internet can have the ticket sent by post. To do so, call the call centre on 02 214 19 19.
